Performing Arts is a fantastic way to engage children with fun activities whilst boosting their confidence, teaching them new skills and encouraging team work and development.
So…Shout Out! have decided to improve our Friday Drama Club by involving longer workshops which explore more of the Arts! We are very excited about this as our current drama clubs are already amazing with brilliant students and pleased parents!

After School Performing Arts club is 1 or 2 sessions of drama, dance, singing and craft workshops for childrenaged 4 (in school) -10 years old. The children will be exploring different theatre styles, music and songs,
dance moves and craft projects. They will learn professional skills and techniques whilst bringing their imaginations
to life through fun games, activities and performances whilst really boosting their confidence.
Whether the children attend 1 or 2 sessions per week, they will be enjoy each workshop at least once per term!
The children will explore characters, stories, script work, improvisation, mime, puppetry and more through drama games and activities. Each child will be able to share their thoughts and ideas with the other students and use their imaginations to tell amazing stories and learn professional drama techniques to put on a show!
The children will learn about different genres of music, how to warm up their bodies and learn new styles of dance; street dance, bhangra, Jazz and more! They will learn choreographed routines as well as being able to create their own and perform them all back! Working with guest choreographers, the children will learn industry standard moves & techniques whilst keeping fit!
The children will learn all about warming up their voices and different styles of singing whilst learning new songs and enjoying singing activities. Each term the children will learn a new song which they will perform in our termly performance.
The children will be able to create props and scenery to use in drama as well as being able to make their own creations to take home. There will be a range of craft activities which the children will work on in groups as well as individually such as; paper mache, Mini villages, set design, costume pieces and lots more!
If your child is not being picked up from school, please arrive 5 minutes before the start of the session to allow a prompt start

Shout Out! believe performing Arts is a very important tool in a child’s development and so want to make it accessible to all! We offer very low prices in comparison to other Arts organisations and very high quality workshops delivered with love and passion!
Shout Out! want to make our classes as accessible as possible so have expanded our team and of highly skilled, qualified, professional and passionate facilitators who will be picking your children up from school and escorting them very safely to the Scout Hut. The children will then be provided with a packed lunch of a sandwhich/pasta, fruit, sweet snack, savoury snack and a drink of juice or water.
Pick-Up is available from Sefton Park School, St. Barnabas School & Bishop Road School.
You will be required to book this at least 24 hours before and fill in a form.
To book your child’s place please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your child’s name and age and you will be sent a registration form. No deposits are required and booking for a full term is not neccessary.
Payments can be made weekly or you can save by paying for the full term in week 1.
